Thanks for your interest in the Banh Mi Selfie Photo Contest. To enter, no purchase or payment of any kind is necessary.
Terms: Vietworldkitchen’s Banh Mi Selfie Photo Contest begins at 10:30pm Pacific Standard Time (PST) on September 9, 2014 and ends at 5pm PST October 5, 2014. By submitting an entry, each contestant agrees to the rules of the contest.
Who may enter: Residents of the U.S., Canada, and Australia who are 18 years old or older and have a valid mailing addresses may enter.
What to enter: A photo of you (and others, if you like) with a banh mi sandwich, or a banh mi beauty shot. If you are in the photo with other people, make sure you have permission to include them in your submission. If it's hard to hold a sandwich and take a photo, have someone do it for you.
How to enter: Submit your entry online via the entry form at Facebook, or through your Twitter or Instagram accounts with the hashtag #banhmiselfie. Vietworldkitchen is not responsible for lost or misrouted submissions, interrupted or unavailable network or server connections, or other computer or technical failures.
Contest dates: All entries must be received by 5pm PST on September 24, 2014. Voting begins at 12am PST on September 25, 2014 and ends at 5pm PST on October 5, 2014. Winners will be announced on October 7, 2014.
How winners are selected: Open voting will determine the five (5) winning entries. You may vote daily and vote for multiple entries.
The five (5) prizes will be awarded to the top vote-getters. You may enter as many times as you like but only one (1) prize per person.
Prizes: The five winners will receive a copy of The Banh Mi Handbook and a handsome apron.
How winners are notified: Vietworldkitchen will notify the winners via the contact information provided at the time of entry.
Claiming a Prize. Each ontest winner must respond within three (3) days of notification or forfeit the prize. If there is no response, Vietworldkitchen will select an alternate winner. Please allow four (4) weeks for shipping the prizes to winners.
Prize substitution. Winners may not substitute the prize for any other prize or for cash.
Rights: You retain the rights to your photograph(s). By entering the photo contest, you agree to allow your submitted name, photo, and caption to be displayed on Vietworldkitchen.com and used by Andrea Nguyen for any purpose, at any time, without any fee or other form of compensation. We reserve the right to disqualify users, without notice, and for any reason.
Inappropriate content: Obscene, provocative or otherwise questionable content will not be considered. Vietworldkitchen retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
Taxes. All federal, state, and local taxes associated with the receipt of any prize from Vietworldkitchen are the sole responsibility of the winners.
Publicity. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use each winner’s name and prize information for promotional purposes in any medium, except where prohibited by law, without further payment or other consideration.
Technical Problems. The contest may be canceled, suspended and/or modified, in whole or in part, if in the opinion of Vietworldkitchen, any fraud, technical failure or other factor beyond its control impairs the integrity of the contest.
General Release. By entering the contest, you release Vietworldkitchen from any liability whatsoever. You also waive any and all causes of action, related to any claims, costs, injuries, losses or damages of any kind arising out of or in connection with the contest or delivery, mis-delivery or acceptance of any prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation or portrayal in a false light, whether intentional or unintentional), whether under a theory of contract, tort (including negligence), warranty or other theory).
