Responding to people who asked about Asian cooking classes, I just opened two for October and November. These are hands-on and located in Santa Cruz, which means you’ll get to learn in a small class situation (there’s a limit of 12 people per class), and I’ll be carefully choosing the ingredients. The cooking classes are always a fun time, so I hope to cook with you soon.
My cooking classes are great for cooks of all levels – from beginners to advance. Adult and teen cooks are welcomed. If you would like to bring someone younger than 12, contact me.

Pho Celebration – Saturday, October 13, 11am to 3:30pm
Here's your opportunity to dive deep into the brothy bowl to explore the national dish of Vietnam. Traditional and modern recipes will be explored so you can replicate these dishes at home. You'll experiment with condiments, herbs and other seasonings that shape the iconic foods of Vietnam. You'll learn to tame rice paper, too.
This is an awesome class because it's rare that you get to play around with and try a bunch of different pho broths all at one. Plus, we make a bunch of other pho-ish dishes. Our Pho Celebration menu:

Dim Sum Party – Saturday, November 3, 11am to 3pm
Everyone loves dumplings. They make people smile. Making them yourself and sharing them with friends as part of a dim sum party is extra satisfying. In this cooking class, you'll learn how to prepare dumpling fillings and dough, wrap, shape and cook the morsels to perfection. You'll also make several other dishes to create a complete and fun meal.
